Floatin' Fun

Day One: Travel to Phoenix, located in the Valley of the Sun, and board your shuttle to the Pointe Hilton at Tapatio Cliffs Resort. After checking-in, stop by the concierge desk to pick up your Family Fun Pack. The pack will include gift certificates for use toward dinner, as well as some treats and eats. Your restaurant choices include western fare, Southwestern cuisine, or fine dining.

Day Two: Surf's up! After breakfast, get ready for a wet and wild day at The Falls! The Tapatio's spectacular pool area features a 40-foot waterfall and a 138-foot enclosed flume waterslide. Children ages 5-12 can spend an action-packed day at the Kids Korral (additional activities are available for teens). Mom and dad can enjoy golf or a relaxing spa treatment. This evening, relax and get ready for your Grand Adventure tomorrow!

Day Three: Today you head north to Grand Canyon National Park, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. On the way you'll see prickly desert plants, huge mountains and tall green forests. Then get your first look "over the edge" at Grand Canyon. Take your parents on a short hike on the Bright Angel Trail, explore the rock and mineral shop or watch for giant condors. Then, tour the east rim of the canyon and visit the Navajo Reservation and the Cameron Trading Post. Tonight, you'll spend the evening in Flagstaff, home of the Lowell Observatory where the planet Pluto was discovered.

Day Four: Early this morning, your guide will take you alongside the Vermillion Cliffs to the banks of the Colorado River. Board the big blue rafts and get ready for a cool trip. You'll float along on the river beside giant cliffs. On the way, you'll spot ancient Indian petroglyphs (rock art), enjoy a shore lunch, and maybe spy some eagles or condors. Then return to Flagstaff in time for dinner.

Day Five: Spend the morning doing whatever you please. Then, catch your airport shuttle to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport for your flight home.

The Great Arizona Family Escapade

Day One: Arrive in Phoenix for this ultimate family adventure. Your hotel has a great pool with a water slide and lots of fun activities. But don't stay up too late because the real adventure begins tomorrow!

Day Two: This morning you'll take a trip through the desert with giant cactus plants, rugged mountains and ancient Indian cliff dwellings along the way. This afternoon, hop on board for a four-wheel jeep adventure into the red rocks of Sedona. Mom and dad will love the scenery and you'll love the great ride! There will also be time for shopping, riding the trolley or playing at the pool at your hotel. See if you can spot the red rocks shaped like Snoopy lying on his doghouse.

Day Three: Today you travel through Oak Creek Canyon on your way to the Grand Canyon. You'll arrive at the south rim in time to enjoy lunch, take a short hike along the rim or watch for wildlife. After lunch, take a trip along the Grand Canyon rim for great pictures and take a walk up into a watchtower high above the canyon. There's even time to shop for souvenirs at a Navajo trading post. Overnight in Flagstaff and get ready for your whitewater adventure tomorrow!

Day Four: Get ready for the ride of a lifetime! Today you'll take a bus that will bring you deep down into the Grand Canyon. Here you'll board whitewater rafts for a journey on the Colorado River with Hualapai Indian guides. There are big rapids, hidden waterfalls and giant cliffs along the way. After lunch along the shore, you'll float peacefully on a calm stretch of river before taking a helicopter back up to the canyon rim to meet your bus. Return to Flagstaff to rest for the night.

Day Five: Enjoy the morning in Flagstaff before you board your shuttle to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport for your flight home.

Dino-mite Summer Fun

Day One: Arrive in Arizona and get ready for some fun and sun. You'll take one of our shuttles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to Flagstaff in northern Arizona. Once you arrive at the hotel, take a swim in the pool or visit historic downtown Flagstaff for some shopping and a bite to eat at one of their great restaurants. The evening is free to do as you choose.

Day Two: This morning, take an exciting ride on the historic Grand Canyon Railway. This railroad, which is more than 100 years old, will take you on a one-way trip up to the Grand Canyon. Along the way, you'll travel through open countryside and tall pine forests before reaching the canyon around noon. You'll have some free time for a hike along the rim and to get some lunch before you meet up with our tour guide. You'll continue with a tour of the east rim of the canyon where you can climb to the top of a watchtower! Next, travel across the Navajo Indian reservation and stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post where you can buy Native American arts and crafts and get a snack -- try some delicious Indian Fry Bread! Return to Flagstaff early in the evening to relax and get ready for your tour tomorrow.

Day Three: Today, travel to where astronauts have trained for space missions -- Meteor Crater. This is the spot where a giant meteor hit the earth thousands of years ago, and it's the biggest such crater in the United States. Afterward, you'll visit the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert to learn how this once giant forest was turned to stone. You'll also enjoy the scenic views of the Painted Desert cliffs as they change color throughout the day. If you look closely, you'll find ancient petroglyphs and ruins of prehistoric Indian dwellings too. Overnight in Flagstaff.

Day Four: Pack your sunscreen and prepare for a relaxing and lazy float trip on the Colorado River. Your guide will take you on a tour across the Navajo reservation to the shores of the Colorado at Glen Canyon. You'll board your raft for a scenic float trip where you're surrounded by towering canyon walls, and you'll see ancient Indian petroglyphs here too. Along the way, you'll stop for a delicious lunch on the river shore and you'll get an up-close view of the huge Glen Canyon Dam. Overnight in Flagstaff.

Day Five: Take our airport shuttle from Flagstaff to Phoenix for your flight home. Additional nights are available in Flagstaff, Phoenix or Scottsdale - ask us for details.
